It's been almost a month since I took a sky picture, and today the clouds against the blue, blue sky were just too pretty to pass up. I wish I had a HUGE lens to capture the textures.

Life right now is sort of like today's sky...layers of sunshine and clouds, bright-blue and gray-white. There are tiny moments of joy peeking from behind drab humdrum, and I must remember to see the beauty beyond the ugly.

That really IS a lovely sky and it REALLY looks layered with the clouds that way. I also like the contrast with the fields.

The contrast in textures is what caught my attention yesterday. The only thing better would have been to have no tree line. Thanks!

You may have to check with the professionals who live next door about cameras, because I think you are ready to move up to an SLR. Start socking away your change...

*sigh* I wish! I've been looking at photos on Flickr. OMG! Maybe it's the camera that makes the difference, but many are just jaw-dropping gorgeous. Thanks for the encouragement, though. Some day... ;)

Thank you. I love sky pictures, but my camera is just not good enough to capture the real beauty. :D
