Raking leaves is for people who really care how their yard looks. I'm not one of them. Dang! I almost made a blister on my hand with the rake and didn't get a tenth of the job done. This is a HUGE yard! I've decided I like piles...piles of leaves, piles of sticks, piles...

I also like how the summer flowers are desperately trying to hang on while the fall color explodes around them. So I took a few pictures juxtaposing the two seasons. It would be nice if I could remember all the names of the summer flowers, but I can't. Oh, well.
