Project 366...
Nov. 10th, 2008 05:06 pmFriday night the leaves fell in abundance. Saturday morning the yard was blanketed in yellow, and I even got a few good photos. But then there was the Veterans' Day parade.
So today I thought I'd take a few pictures, but just in the few days since the windfall, the leaves have gone brown and brittle. I raked up some because Mabry said something about wanting to jump in a pile of leaves, but there are also twigs and small branches hidden in there. I don't think I'll let her jump face first the way she wants after all. Maybe she'll be satisfied to kick around a little. ;)
I wonder if this pile will satisfy her. Since I don't have to work tomorrow, perhaps I can get a few pictures of the kids playing in the leaves.
