Project 366...

Due to gale force winds and a good bit of rain lately, the pecan trees are shedding their fruit over a month early. One of the trees is old, and the nuts are not that great. The other is younger but in a poor location, and it produces tiny little nuts that are virtually useless. It can get a little dangerous walking around the yard at times with nuts falling all around. LOL!

Soooo...the squirrels and I play games with the fallen fruit. I gather them, place them at the base of the old tree and watch them snatch and grab. We all enjoy the game. ;)
