Project 366...

There have been several plants magically appear in my yard this year. Or maybe because of Project 366, I'm noticing them for the first time. (Probably the latter. I'm not very observant.) However the plants get here, I'm happy to have them.

I photographed today's plant last weekend, but it hadn't quite come into its own at that time. This afternoon, in addition to this biggie, there were several other shaggy purple blooms in the yard under my bedroom window. I think this one is especially lovely. It may be invasive, but I say Invade Away! :D
