Project 366...
Sep. 5th, 2008 02:05 pmWe are bracing for a little rain and wind in Down East North Carolina due to tropical storm Hannah. If we get enough rain from this storm, we may pull out of the drought we've been in for lo these many years. :D
Bands of clouds began moving in early this morning, but the rain didn't begin at school until 12:00, which is when the district decided yesterday to dismiss classes for the day. It rained on me off and on all the way home, but has stopped for now. We aren't supposed to get much until tonight, though. I just hope the wind isn't gale force by the time Hannah reaches us.
I'm going out in a few minutes to stack the plastic chairs and move some other stuff into a sheltered area so the yard won't be littered with debris tonight.
The sky at sunrise this morning was very prettily streaked with clouds and sun so I decided to take some pictures. I haven't taken a sunrise picture since May or June!

This one was taken about an hour later...'Streaking'...photo of the day...
